BIO
Fede Pouso was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1988.
Graduated in 2010 as Fashion and Textile Designer in the University of Work of Uruguay (UTU) in Montevideo, he begins his professional career at an early age as an assistant and right-hand from one of the most important haute couture designers in his native country.
At the age of 23 he began working as a stylist in numerous fashion editorials for the top magazines in Uruguay. As art director and producer he works creating campaigns and visual content for designers and fashion brands, and becomes part of the direction and art team of the Uruguayan Fashion Week
Since 2015 he is based in Madrid, Spain, the land of his immigrant parents, where he ventures into crafts as a figurist and theater costume designer in the play "El Descanso de Caronte", by the company Actos Intimos, by Santi Senso, taking his work into different stages in national and international festivals such as The International Festival of Classical Theater of Cáceres, The International Festival of Medellín, Colombia and the prestigious Fernán Gómez Theater in Madrid
His foray into the world of visual arts arises from watching his mother painting when he was as a child.
He thus becomes a self-taught artist in Madrid, exploring always new paths that force him to leave his comfort zone. In his works, he uses fashion, painting and color as a means of transmitting a way of seeing the world, seeking to communicate what harms and generates love.
Currently, he not only works as a stylist for the publishing and artistic world but begins an intense career within the audiovisual in Spain, working as a costume director for numerous films and ads with important creators of the scene.
Fede Pouso feels passionate about people who go against the current and dedicate their time and his life to show that we are not preprogrammed, that we are not a simple piece of chess and that love, our love, is the only cure.
BIO
Fede Pouso nació en Montevideo, Uruguay, en 1988.
Graduado en el 2010 como diseñador de indumentaria y arte textil en la Universidad del Trabajo del Uruguay (UTU) en Montevideo, comienza su carrera profesional a muy temprana edad como asistente y mano derecha de uno de los diseñadores de alta costura más importantes de su país natal.
A los 23 años comienza a trabajar como estilista en numerosas editoriales de moda para las revistas mas importantes de su país.
Como director de arte y productor trabaja creando las campañas y los contenidos visuales para diseñadores y marcas de moda, logrando ser parte del equipo de dirección y arte de la Fashion Week de Uruguay.
Desde el año 2015 reside en Madrid, España, tierra de sus padres inmigrantes donde incursiona en las artes escénas como figurinista y vestuarista de teatro en la obra "El Descanso de Caronte", de la compañía Actos Íntimos, de Santi Senso, llevando su trabajo a diferentes escenarios en festivales nacionales e internacionales como el Festival de Teatro Clásico de Cáceres, el Festival Internacional de Medellin, Colombia y el prestigioso Teatro Fernán Gomez en Madrid.
Su incursión al mundo de las artes plásticas surge de la mano de su madre a la que ve pintar desde niño.
Se convierte así en un artista plástico autodidacta en Madrid, explorando siempre nuevos caminos que le obligan a salir de su zona de confort, en sus trabajos, utiliza la moda, la pintura y el color como medio para transmitir su forma de ver el mundo, buscando comunicar aquello que le daña y le genera amor.
Actualmente no solo trabaja como estilista para el mundo editorial y artístico en España sino que comienza en una intensa carrera dentro del audiovisual español, trabajando como director y jefe de vestuario para numerosas películas, y publicidades junto a importantes directores y creadores del medio.
Fede Pouso se considera fan de la gente que va contra corriente y dedica su tiempo y su vida a demostrar que no estamos pre- programados, que no somos una simple pieza de ajedrez y que el amor, nuestro amor, es la única cura.
